Alethea Sibois has a variety of experience, in a wide range of fields. She took her first footsteps in choosing a career while attending Hult International Business School. She has served as senior director of corporate relations, spending two years gathering knowledge and experience in the post. After this, Sibois moved on to work with MTV Networks, where she served as marketing director. Under this position, she was responsible for all marketing tasks for all of the Nickelodeon channels owned by the network and located outside of the United States. Next, she moved on to serve at Viacom’s United International Pictures, where she worked with international film promotion strategies; she spent six years fulfilling this role and becoming an authority of applying her previously understood concepts to the film industry.
Now, based in this wide array of experience, according to an article recently completed by The Drum, Modern Marketing and Media, Sibois has been named by Havas Worldwide London as their head of business development. For this particular job, Sibois will be tasked with the duties of growing business revenue across Havas Worldwide London’s integrated advertising, PR, social and digital arms. It is in this integration that the appeal for the position lies most to Sibois; she said this system of integration amongst platforms is really compelling—a challenge for her, even given her decade of experience in film and television marketing experiences. The wide applications she has applied marketing concepts to in her experiences will all come to become quite important in her work with Havas Worldwide London.
Russ Lidstone, Chief Executive Officer of Havas Worldwide London, is also extremely excited to have Sibois on board with the company. He believes she has more than proven herself in the marketing and business divisions across a number of business categories; her varied experiences will work very well with their integrated system for their various marketing attempts. Lidstone also claims that Sibois’ fresh thinking will add much to Havas World London’s marketing and advertising attempts.
